Biography:
Mahmoud ATTIA, is a Research En- gineer at the French Atomic Energy and Al- ternative Energies Commission (CEA). He is currently entitled as a Marie Skodowska-Curie PhD candidate at the University of Paris- Saclay, working on Multiscale Modelling of Dif- fusion linked to microscopic properties from spectroscopic measurements e.g. NMR and EIS. His main areas of research lies within atomistic simulations (MD and AIMD) and Density Functional Theory trying to propose new candidates to serve as solid electrolytes for the new generation of solid batteries. He obtained his master in Chemical Engineer- ing through CNE-EMJMD program (Chemical NanoEngineering ERASMUS MUNDUS Joint Master Degree) in the form of joint mobility between Aix-Marseille University, France, Wro-claw universality of Technology ”WUST”, Poland, University of Rome Tor-Veragta, and University of Missouri, USA. He also spent the last semester at the University of Montpellier, in France for his master thesis.
