Biography:
Dr. Knapek studied Physics of Materials at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia and graduated as MSc. in 2012. He then joined the research group of Prof. Chmelik at the Department of Physics of Materials, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic where he received his PhD degree in 2016. After several short- and long-term fellowships he obtained the position of an Assistant Professor in 2022 at the same institution. He has published more than 60 research papers indexed in the Web of Science database.
