MATERIALS 2023 took place as a virtual event from March 13–15, 2023, guided by the theme “Shaping Future by Combining Knowledge and Innovations in Material Science.” The meeting highlighted how scientific understanding and technological advances collectively drive the development of next-generation materials. Its program included sessions on nanomaterials, biomaterials, polymers, composites, ceramics, metals and alloys, electronic and optical materials, magnetic and quantum materials, energy materials, smart and adaptive materials, additive manufacturing, surface modification, materials characterization, and computational design. Overall, the event promoted scientific exchange and supported collaboration across key areas of materials research and engineering.
